  • Anyone know of a Compounding Pharmacy that makes preservative-free eye drops?

Leiter's, which used to make preservative-free patanol, closed a couple of years ago. Does anyone know of another compounding pharmacies that makes a lot of preservative-free drops? I'm willing to have it made anywhere in the US and then have it shipped.

    Thanks!

Rancho Park Compounding Pharmacy in Los Angeles:

However, Linguininess was also looking for a compounding pharmacy to make preservative-free Pataday/Pantenol/olopatadine drops, but Rancho Park nor any other compounding pharmacy she contacted could do it, something perhaps due to a patent on the olopatadine ingredient. Maybe connect with Linguininess to see if she has ideas for other alternatives, and to keep you posted if she finds a resource for the drops at some point:

Hi! I've called practically all the major super-sterile compounding pharmacies in the US. No one will unfortunately compound PF olopatadine. I found one pharmacy near San Diego who compounded ketotifen PF. It turned out to be only $35 for a month supply. I forgot the name of the pharmacy though

      PS: I'm a guy! haha :P

Ahh yes, Linguininess, I knew you had looked into this to the nth degree! Thanks for responding to this post.

Lol, sorry for mistaking you as a she! I've been referred to in this forum at times as a he, but I am a she!
