Disability Insurance

Anyone ever think about disability insurance or something for dry eyes? For example, if you get disability insurance and work for a few years and the computer makes your eyes worse and you feel you need to stop working in front of a computer. Then the insurance would kick in to cover a portion of your previous salary. I'm curious because it seems very difficult for someone to find a job that doesn't involve a lot of time in front of the computer.

wondered many times about this, but from the limited amount of information i've seen, i think it is unlikely. technically you could still work as a waiter for instance, a job i've done when i was younger, but of course isn't comparable to my current job which requires a college degree.
