Can tanning cause or aggravate this condition?

I feel like my eye was doing a little better. But it's back to square one again. The only two things that changed was I started going tanning with eye protection and a lot of stress. My eye is awful today. Beyond awful. And I'm wondering if the tanning caused it.

Do you mean sunbeds/tanning beds? I used them years ago when my eyes were mildly dry and didn’t notice a difference! I have read tho that sunbeds can cause dry eye which I don’t understand as the goggles surely seal in your eyes?
