  • Eye supplement that made a difference

My mom suffers from Sjogrens disease. She just got fitted for sclerals and hopes are high (dear god please please please let this help!). I read several forum posts about beneficial supplments and getting the right omega 3s with GLA so my question is: for those of you who felt like the supplements made a noticeable difference, please share what brand you buy. I don't trust Amazon reviews and would greatly appreciate your firsthand insight.

    Thanks again. -mary

Hi there! I bought “Superior Omega 3 - Krill Oil” the brands name is Mega Red. If you live in the states like me, I’ll cost you about $50. But it’s the best one I’ve ever found. I take “Extra Strength 500mg”
I also bought Flax seed oil from “Finest Nutrition” and they were relatively cheap, around $20 box

Look, they’re cheaper on amazon, I had to buy them at CVS because of my insurance but if you’re willing to pay out of pocket I️ think it’s a good price.

Thanks so much Sophie! How many pills of the Mega Red do you take a day?

I take 3, and 2 flax seed oil, and I also had Fish oil vitamins (Finest Nutrition) but I ran out and I’m doing good with just the other 2.

My doctor recommended me this Mega Red brand by the way : )

Effective/safe Omega 3 supplments are expensive & hard to find. What work for me & based on my own research
cold- pressed, bio flaxseed oil + GLA ---mixed with salad/food seem works better

Many doctors in USA recommend HydroEye, PRN
