  • Thera Tears Cheating Us?

The box says the amount hasn't changed but I've been using these for 9 years (every 10 minutes for 9 years!) and I've noticed they seem to be getting used up way faster. I compared an older dropper to the newest one. You can judge for yourselves.

I don't even bother with these brands. If you have access to a Sam's club they 100 vials of preservative free Refresh tears for 19 bucks. Best value I've found anywhere.

You are lucky to be able to use other brands, Phillips55. TheraTears is the only drop that doesn't upset my eyes. Akorn has me by the yahoo. Buntbean, you are right, although you have found good fortune in owning the resealable vials. I found an old pack of TT with the four vials still connected together, and they were filled to varying levels.

        HI guys,

I've noticed the same thing and sent a container to a lab to measure contents in ml.

Pls see associated post Advisory-TheraTears-Dispenser-change in this forum a few lines down from this thread.

I will post the measurement when I get it.

        Bill

I HATE that you cannot seal them anymore! I understand their directions are that you are suppose to use ALL of the drops within 5 min. but some of us need to be able to use them as needed (and for me that's every 10-15 min).

The foil package says four containers with a total of 2.4 ml. A lab measured 0.48 cc in one container.
