I've had a chronic eye problem for 13 months now. It started with both eyes having a foreign body sensation, itching, and burning, and currently only the left eye has a foreign body sensation and burns sometimes. I have been diagnosed with a range of different things, such as Giant Papillary Conjuntitivis, Blephritis, and dry eye. I have seen 6 doctors, and currently am working with a Dry Eye specialist. She cannot find anything wrong with my eye, and she says it only looks like there is an allergic reaction + dry eye.
What i've tried:
1. Pazeo 0.7%
2. Predforte
3. Alrex
4. Lotemax
5. Pataday
6. Theratears artificial tears
7. Hot compresses
8. Eye mask when sleeping
9. Hydroeye Soft Gels (Supplemental aimed for relieving dry eye)
10. Punctual plug in left, lower eyelid
11. Air Purifier
12. Allergy shots
13. Dust Mite Bed Sheets/Pillow Cover
I am currently not taking any steroid drops. I only have the plug in the left eye (with minimal success), take my Hydroeye pills, warm compresses, and use artificial tears.
I am not sure what my next move should be; I'm only 21 years old so I really don't understand why this is happening to me. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be super appreciated.
