Question for all those with MGD...

1. Do you use drops that contain oil or not?
2. Which drop do you use regularly?

I'm curious because my doc said that those with MGD should use a drop containing oil since we generally have a poor lipid layer. I sometimes think though that these drops (Retaine MGD or Refresh Optive Advanced - both PF) irritate my eyes more then drops without any oil. I'm curious to hear what you all use and what your experiences have been. Thanks!

I use Systane Balance a few times a day when my eyes feel particularly dry.
If my eyes burn, are inflamed or produce a lot of reflex tears, I use refrigerated saline or Systane Ultra without preservatives.
