  • Eyebright (Euphrasia) Eyewash?

Anyone had experience with this I've come across a few articles lately stating its benefits of using it as an eyewash, but also a couple that say there's a risk of serious infection by using it. I want to try it but don't want to cause more damage.

    YES.
I credit using a Euphrasia eyewash for 6 months with my, until recently, 2.5 year remission from Blepharitis which I'd had for 2 years.
Have a look at my recent long posts.
I used it in conjunction with regular visits to a homeopath. I started using it again about 8 weeks ago when my Blepharitis was re triggered by exposure to adhesive fumes.

You can search DEZ using the box near top right... Just above the words "Advanced Search". I know there have been other threads talking about eyebright/euphrasia.

Bette have your symptoms resolved at all for you yet?! I am seeing a naturopath and mentally feel better. I also trust mine, and have hope after my sessions.

          Hello Faith,
It's been about 6/7 weeks since my Blepharitis returned due to glue fumes.
I've been using the Euphrasia in an eye bath twice a day and though it has not gone. It's not hitting me nearly so hard this time and some days are good til quite late in the day. I have no reason to believe it won't work again though. :-) took six months last time though. Not a quick fix. :-))
