  • I may have symptoms of a corneal flash burn

So, I was at night and the brightness of my screen was its highest for a few seconds and couldnt reduce it that was enough to give me extra pain and etc.... and some damage i guess?

I do feel pain with dry eyes but I know this extra pain I have isnt due to dry eyes it might be corneal flash burn. ITs been 4-5 days and no progression ive read it can heal by itself in 2 days but it hasnt yet. I use maxidex drops. I have read its better to go see an ophtalmologist but im so busy with school its not really tempting and I dont wanna have bad news announced for sure. When looking at my eyes in mirroir there isnt any damage or scratch or burn thats a good sign but the fact that the pain hasnt disappeared yet is not a good sign.

BRigthness is our worst enemy guys, its what cause my dry eyes and now this.... just buy a lcd filter

I would guess it is just some strained nerves. My eyes have been through a lot with UV damage and further wear because of computer use... no evidence of cornea issues here.

My opinion... I never had burns, and my case has been pretty extreme, so you probably don't either. I'd probably say it's a case of serious strain.
