Worse with glasses on

I wore contact lenses for years and now because of dry eye I am wearing my glasses . Does anyone find that their dry eye feels worse when they have there glasses on ? I'm wondering if it's possible to have an allergy to the actual prescription lense , I don't have any red marks around my face off the frames and the lense always seems to be very oily .

Could be that the contact lenses, by covering your corneas, reduced irritation from the breeze etc. Now that you are wearing regular glasses, you feel everything since there is no longer a barrier between air flow and your corneas.
