    Robert,
Have you tried using a humidifier in your apartment? An air filtration device may also help.

      Paint Fumes---message to Robert T

Robert T.....My advice would be to get out of that apartment NOW. Become a room mate in a house but get out now. And when looking for a house make sure it hasn't been painted for at least a year. 2 years on the carpet. I find I can't even live in a home unless it is at least 20 years old! This creates all types of problems for me and my family. Robert, tell me more about the history of your dry eyes. Did it start when you moved to this apartment? Did it get a lot worse when you moved to this apartment? My problem started the day I was exposed to a massive about of fresh paint in a totally enclosed space with no ventilation and the paint in the air went right into my eyes. I WONDER HOW MANY OTHERS ON THIS FORUM ARE SUFFERING A LOT MORE BECAUSE OF EXPOSURE TO OFF GASSING....NEW CARS, NEW HOMES, NEW PAINT, NEW CARPET, ETC. I'D LIKE TO HEAR FROM OTHERS.
