  • Moorfields Blood Study for dry eyes

Potentially a lot cheaper than serum drops or if the UK an alternative:

    Lancets are easy to obtain:

Are you going to try it? Are you concerned about infection in your eye even if you use aseptic technique? This would literally change the game. You wouldn't have to refrigerate serum, you'd always have drops on you, I really hope this goes somewhere. Especially for people without the funds to buy serum and other drugs/treatments.

quattroboy, I think someone very knowlegeable and helpful in this forum from the UK tried this last year (and may still be doing it), and it did help to take the edge off of his/her discomfort. Perhaps PM them to get more info, as they have not been active in this forum this year.

Yes I would be up for it. My wife works with under 8s, many are type 1, so has plenty of experience dealing with Lancets and testing blood. She reckons it worth trying.

At the moment I'm willing to keep going with the steriods, OTC drops and ikervis,

Seeing my consultant next week so there are a few options I want to discuss with him as well.
