I think that's what I have as of last night. Really hurts on the inside of the outside corner of my eye. Already on Doxy. Anyone else been through this? What did you do?..thanks

I have a tiny white bump inside the lower eyelid of my left eye, and a strange "growth" left by a chalazia on the lid margin... So no you're not alone! But I dont know how to get rid of them and the docs don't seem to worry about them

The chalazion growth is indeed, and the main cause of the dryness in my left eye. For the tiny bump, no, I don't feel it. Have you talked to an opht about it?

Not yet...it's only been a bit over a day so I thought I'd give it a little time to settle down. Odd thing is I just started serum drops and azithromycin a few days ago, but I can't see how this would be related. If anything I would guess it would help heal whatever it is. I think it's a stye right in the very corner of my eye.

Did you get a proper diagnosis to take azythromicin (azasite I guess?) ?

Oh yeah..I see a corneal specialist. It had to be compounded. It's in liquid form and I spread it on the margin of my eyelid. It only has a shelf life of 10 days. I'm in Canada so no azasite or azithromycin available except at a compunding pharmacy. Been waiting 5 days now for it to make a difference with my blepharitis, but nothing. Same with the serum drops...no improvement. Now this stye or whatever it is. Thanks for responding.

None..do you think it would have kicked in after 5 days?

I get immediate relief with Azyter (it's not miraculous, but it helps)

Is azyter a drop you put in your eye? What I have is a liquid that's applied to my closed eyelid once at night.
