I agree with you, DES is so inconsistent. Certain days are better and certain days worse when we are giving the same treatment to the eyes.

Hug to you. I am thankful that my husband and family members are very supportive. Most friends will not know how tough we are going through and in fact, many think DES is just a small matter as some commented they have dry eyes too and why did I have such a big reaction. I don't want to explain more.

Hope your eyes are feeling better these few days. You are in prayers when I pray for my eyes.

I am looking for moisture chamber glasses in Singapore, cannot find one. Not too sure if I can wear those from 7eye or wiley as i have tried them before.

TeaLeaf, I can't remember so I'm sorry if I'm being repetitive - did you ever look into the Tranquileyes Moisture Release Glasses? They recently came out with a smaller version (the originals were pretty big). They have a flexible nose bridge so you can bend them in to fit. Also, the frame design is similar to Fitovers so it's straighter across than the 7Eye/Wiley types which have deep curvature, so for some of the fit issues with moisture chambers that for example are common problems for Asians (nose bridge too large so there's a huge gap over the forehead) it sometimes provides a closer fit. EDIT: Just realized the new small ones DO take prescription lenses! Yay.

Update: Just visited the website. The eyeeco hydrating sunglasses seem to look less pretty as compared to those from 7eye/wiley What I like is the flexible nose bridge though.
Just wondering since there are foam around the eyes for the 7eye Airshield, does it matter how high or low the nose bridge?

Yeah aesthetically they leave something to be desired... actually I could say the same of the 7eyes on my head right now... but sometimes it's function over form

I have been trying to find a picture to show you what I mean... there used to be one on the 7Eye site but I can't find it. A straight top-down view helps to understand. If there is deep curvature to the frame (which there often is on the sports types) it may leave a substantial gap over the forehead on some faces because the foam eyecup shape runs exactly parallel. So bottom line, yes, it does matter. It all depends on the facial bone structure. For some people certain frames will give a good seal everywhere and others will leave a big gap. Then... there are some people who can wear almost any 7Eye frame and get a good seal, and others for whom none will make a seal. I don't mean to be taking anything for granted based on your location but as I said Asians tend to have more issues - not always of course - with this kind of frame. I had a customer recently who tried almost every 7eye frame and the only one that really worked was Panhead (men's style).
