  • Moisture Chambers--two updates

My prescription Wiley X Boss glasses didn't seal well. The lens portion of the frame tilts forward leaving a gap at the forehead. Phillips Safety Products has Gen 2 cavity seals/"thicker version" that fill in that gap and improve the seal. They even have them in stock. I'm not sure whether the replacement seals in The Dry Eye Shop are also thicker version.

Safety Gear Pro sells wrap around goggles with a foam gasket and a variety of lens types, including prescription. You need to understand refractive prescriptions before you order but they cost me one third of what my optometrist charged for the Wiley X. Their foam gasket does not seem to be replaceable but these have been wonderful outdoor/work moisture chambers at a good price.

I am also very interested in these products. I looked at the safety gear pro website but wow there are a lot of glasses.

I tried a couple WileyX and not satisfied with the fit. Im going to try a few 7eye and Ziena now.

I wear safety gogles now when i drive or do windy activities which ends up as a conversation topic.

        Sir Dry Eye,

Safety Gear Pro goggles are at:

        https://safetygearpro.com/product-ca...afety-goggles/

        I bought the Windpro model.

For the gaskets, you might have to call Phillips Safety Products. I bought the Wiley x product from them two weeks ago and now cannot find that item on their website. Gaskets for my first Wiley x wrap arounds became unavailable a couple of years after I got the glasses. Hope the same thing is not happening again. Stock up.

Just ordered the windpro 3000. Just basic. The chat help sent me a free shipping code: freeshipmike. It said would only work for an hour but worth trying for others.

So $18 total. A lot cheaper and look to have good potential.

          Thanks for the tip
