I heard a rumour that this product is available in some pharmacies in Australia in NSW/ACT region. But I don't know exactly where. Can anyone confirm/deny or is there any reputable places to buy online and ship to Australia?
Not that it will probably do anything, but in desperation we try things. I am now on ointment in daytime on the worse eye probably not long before I have to do this for both eyes won't be able to see properly. Wish I could get a disease that actually has a treatment for a change. What disease apart from dry eye has so MANY "treatments" yet so little success in treating.
On the upside I found a local, decent optometrist who prescribes, is even willing to prescribe steroids. And she even sometimes works on Saturdays. Didn't even know there were any prescribing optometrists nearby. Apparently, all the new graduates coming out of school are able to prescribe but the older ones, many are not. Some of the older ones are going back to school though to get their prescribing privileges. A win for patients with this.
