  • Omega 3: HELP!

Ive been taking 3800 mg of omega 3 oil (liquid).
    - 2000 mg EPA
    -1000 mg DHA
    - Vitamin E
    + Evening primrose oil 240 - 360 mg (GLA)
It’s good quality, but is it safe to take this much? I’ve been taking this much for a few months now..(2 months)

Also, does it matter if the omega 3 is specially made for dry eyes?

Bonus question: HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO START FEELING AN IMPROVEMENT FROM CONSUMING A REGUALAR DOSAGE OF OMEGA 3? WHAT DOSAGE DID YOU TAKE?

As long as you have a high quality fish oil, you’re going to be fine. The biggest concern imo is mercury or contaminants in a really crappy fish oil. If you can handle nuts, macadamia nut oil is very high in omega 3. Let me also say, if you live near the ocean, you’re probanly eating a lot of fish. When I went to Greece, I was eating fish everyday and cups of olive oil. Greeks are some of the healthiest people on the planet. They’re taking in boat loads of fish oil in their diet, it’s all good. Just make sure it’s from food or a super high quality source. I always suggest Nordic naturals because they’re triglyceride form, pharmaceutical grade and third party lab tested for toxins.
