  • poor mans yada yada

(I borrowed the title from "poor mans patent" and please consider this a rhetorical post)

I probably don't speak for others here, but I for one would appreciate a thorough dry eye tips list which is practical for poor people.

Such a forum would hypothetically minimize acronyms of the zillions of jargony labels slapped on people by the overly-complex system, which often serves to divide people into zillions of neat boxes, thereby confusing them.

Speak of which, in private life, I read of a "seer" type person who stated that in end times, modern medicine will be considered primitive. That's totally believable, given the fact that for years already, the SCIO & L.I.F.E. systems offered so much more accuracy than the current status quo.

Oh I think it's a great idea. I talk to people all the time who are on fixed incomes and need budget-friendly alternatives. I actually think it's a gift sometimes to be cash constrained because it forces you to focus on the essentials and in seeking creative workarounds you can sometimes come upon really important tips.

The reason for that, is because people are always posting confusing acronyms (such as MGD).

So, for example, assuming that I'd post that I suffer from MIB. Well guess what - many teens have MIB (multiple inflamed blemishes) - but they wouldn't know what the heck you're talking about because they're too busy socializing to spend .00001 of their life looking up acronyms. (Actually I made up that MIB acronym, as an analogy. I can coin stuff as well as the fancy guys!

      Another point:

Would you call stem cells simple?
Yet, they don't call stuff by acronyms, rather zero in on where they're needed without confusing people.

Compare that to the status quo system, which uses long terminology & acronyms which:
      (1) scare people
      (2) confuse people (since there's so much overlap - as in Venn Diagrams)
      (3) often fail to resolve issues despite all the hassle.

It's not for nothing that both Fibromyalgia and Autism have been called "wastebasket" diagnostics.
I.E. Don't know what to call it? Give it either label - as long as its in the official books.
But its not limited to just those - there's overlap everywhere.
Such as Parkinsons, Parkinsonians, and yet another conditions with mimicks both Parkinsons & Alzheimers.
It's why I take labels with a grain of salt, but most people love them because its something they can "latch" onto, not realizing the absurdity.
