Do your eyes feel hot?

Hey everyone! I'm having a hard time describing the "heat" in and around my eyes. They literally feel hot to the touch. Like, my eyeballs have a fever. I've read that this indicates inflammation (which I know I have) but I have never read that actual heat is associated with dry eye. Am I crazy, or do you feel this?

Yup, my eyes feel hot alot. I think that is just part of it. Nothing to fear...just one of the lovely effects. Thats when a shot of refresh from the refridgerator feel so good.

Yup mine too. It's a good point, I don't think I've ever seen this on the list of symptoms.

LOL this is one of the reasons why I was confused when my doctor told me to do hot/warm compresses to release oil. I told him that my eyes/lids were already hot. The oil should be dripping!
