My doc give me this medication. I had never heard about it, so maybe nether had you. It exists in France since 1 year and it is not already paid back by French public welfare system, and very expensive: 60€ for 5 drops, and 1 to 3 drops/week.

My doc said it is like a a "liquid therapeutic lense"

Composition: Poly(carboxyMethylGlucose sulphate), Dextran 40, NaCl, purified watter

Intended Use: it is a protector of extra-cellular matric which promotes natural skin regeneration process. It is indicated for the management of chronic corneal dystrophies and decrease associated-pain

sounds sorta like the concepts of Mederma used for burns (sorry if misspelled), or hyaluronic-acid, or even liquid-bandages. Consider this rhetorical, because all I'm acquainted with is having taken both liquid food-grade HA, as well as HA capsules, none of which I felt results from insofar as my internal joints. But when I continuously smeared some of the liquid on various dry parts of body, some greater elasticity seemed to have developed.
