I've checked on multiple different reliable websites and it seems like dry eyes is genuine symptom of a vitamin A deficiency. Has anyone here ever been tested or treated for this? I'm seeing a hospital specialist soon and I'm going to try and push to get it done because it seems like a route worth exploring.

I started taking some vitamin A but apparently there are different forms of it and I don't really know what I'm doing, I'd rather get tested and have a proper vitamin plan made by a doctor but the dr's aren't keen on testing for this vitamin as its rare to be deficient. However I have shown signs of malabsorption so I think it could be possible for me. Have you ever talked to the doctors about vitamin A?Comment
