Getting help with MGD from UK doctors

Does anyone have any advice on how to get a local doctor in UK to take MGD seriously (I can see there are options like drugs)? I've been told to just manage it (with comments like "lots of people have dry eye and put drops in"), but it progressively gets worse, soon I'll be in bed all day. Also any advice on how to get family to stop thinking your crazy and nothings wrong...

I can't recommend these doctors because I've never seen them... However, I hear that there is a place in London that has LipiView/LipiFlow.
