    Hi Ebi,
Good luck. Just make sure the doctor you go to has experience with Prokera. Prokera is good because it is not surgery and your recovery is quicker. I remember using steroid drops for about a week or two after Prokera just like I used steroid drops after the AMT surgery. I am so grateful these procedures exist, because it has helped so much.

After the IPL, I got burning and redness and irritation. It didn't seem to go away on it's own so I got the Prokera and it worked.
Several years before that I had been diagnosed with chalasis and had the surgery to get rid of the wrinkling in the conjunctival and have the AMT placed on that area for healing. The chalasis had given me similar problems with inflammation, redness and burning. Since the AMT worked so well to get rid of those symptoms from the chalasis .. I decided to try the Prokera after I had problems after the IPL. More recently I had a pinguecula removed and also had the AMT with very good results. So to answer your question, the AMT surgery and Prokera seems to deliver great results for me. My ocular surface is smooth and comfortable.
      Hi Taryn, thanks for sharing.
IPL: your experience is not so common. Did doctor comment reasons for your burning and redness?
Did you have inflammation, MGD apart from CCH? Did doctor say causes for CCH? Did you have LipiFlow prior to IPL?

The IPL kicked up some temporary inflammation. It did not do any permanent damage. Dr Toyos who did the IPL gave me some steroid drops after the IPL but I still had irritation. The Prokera luckily got rid of that. The doctor did not comment on the reason why I had a reaction but I was relieved the Prokera got rid of the redness and irritation. I did have MGD but steaming my eyelids and supplements has made that better. I had a mild case of CCH but I think it was diverting the tears. I had cosmetic lower eyelid surgery so that may have caused CCH. Never tried Lipiflow

          Taryn,

When you had inflammation, did it affect your vision as well? Like Halo, glare and etc?
          sorry for many questions

Normally I have very good vision, but when I had inflammation it had a slight effect like not enough tears on the surface. No halos or glares etc

              Thanks Taryn
Do you know LIPCOF? Do you happen to know its links to CCH?

I never heard of it. I didn't get a diagnosis of CCH until I went to Dr Tseng and went through the testing that a dry eye specialist like him would do. The AMT surgeries have been miraculous for me. To have tearing and redness and irritation gone made a huge difference in quality of life.
