I ran across this interesting study on 4 different heating methods although it was performed on one patient. https://www.karger.com/Article/FullText/455087

Based on that limited study the Lipiflow was the only treatment that hit the desired temps but the Blephasteam was next closest.

I'm a little reluctant to buy from this vendor and the price they are charging for the replacement pads seems to be a rip off when you look at the Amazon UK price of 14.50 pound sterling. https://smile.amazon.com/s?k=Blephas...f=nb_sb_noss_2
Personally, I tried Blephasteam and I thought it was useless. Using a microwave bead pack (for like $10 on amazon.com) was way more effective.

The value of LipiFLow isnt just the heat -- but also the massaging action to help clear out the glands of blockages.

Hi All. What heated mask is best to purchase? I think one that plugs in is best or something that can keep continuous heat at proper temperature? Thank you.

personally, i found microwave warm compress to just be the best -- you just need to learn the settings of your microwave to find the best temperature.

I'm using the Bruder mask currently and it seems to work pretty well. I plan on talking with my eye doc about Lipiflow in the near future. https://www.amazon.com/Bruder-Moist-.../dp/B01N303YPU

If you look at my post on the top of this page you will see a link to some tests done on various types of devices including the Bruder.
