  • Blue light filters for phones/tablets

I just came across these blue light filter covers http://www.butterflies-eyecare.co.uk...USHIPHONE.html but they are only for iPhones and iPads. Has anyone seen any for other phones or tablets?

Obviously in a ideal world I wouldn't have to use any computer screens but I have to all day at work and I'm a part-qualified accountant so use my tablet (Kindle HD) in the evening for studying when my eyes allow (not very often at the moment). I know blocking blue light isn't the answer to everything and I already have a blink reminder on my PC at work but I'm looking for anything that can help my eyes a little with the strain.

    Hi LizLou,

I work in front a computer 8 hours a day and drive for 2 hours there and back - tough on the eyes.

Occushield is worth a try. I am not sure if it's claims have been proven but the theory makes sense. I want to buy one for my computer at work but they only have one for iPads.

I might give it a shot anyways. Let me know if you find a computer sized version. Thanks

I just ordered one of these for my new computer: http://www.nushield.com/
It's spendy but I found the rec on a Mac Forum and figured, with all the money I spend on various things that I don't need, it's worth a try. Also, I fell for the pics of the physicians and military using it, whether or not they are legit pictures .
When it arrives, I'll let you know how it compares to my last one, which I bought off Amazon and probably chose based on price.
