I have read about this too in public medical journal articles. I think this is what I read and it is the more in depth study of the article you posted above:

The thing I looked up online was an archive of someone talking about this saying it'll take 5-10 years before it can be performed. It would help a lot of people but they have to work on issues, I'll see if I can find the link, also it's a certain cell they use, closest thing to a cure but I think that is what the time line is. I can't find the other link. Sorry!
