Does anyone know if there are any doctors in Canada doing research on corneal neuralgia and dry eye treatments for patients who don't respond adequately to regular commercial treatments?

Which city are you in , and what are you looking for? Unfortunately , CIHR doesn't really fund ocular surface disease research. There was a 1 recent PhD graduated from Waterloo who studied MGD , you can google around for his advisor.

The city in Canada doesn't really matter... docs who treat patients and are really into the experimental stuff are not common... so to be honest, I'd consider seeing them all if I had options in Canada.

I don't see any mention of scleral lenses in particular, so I suspect they aren't doing work on that. Seems to be all chemical engineers and optometrists in their list of Canadian collaborators.
