I've always been curious to know how many of you on this forum work on computers as part of their job.
My job:
I'm a graphic designer.
Coping:
Yes with MGD it's very tough. I wear my mositure retaining glasses daily. And regularly do compresses at work. I try to avoid reliance on eye drops. I limit my exposure to screens for my main job only. I try not to look at them in the evening. I can only do 10 mins max in the evening before I feel I am getting into risky territory.
I worry about the future a lot. I think about alternative jobs which require the eyes less but in a world where IT is everywhere I find it hard to see where to begin seeking alternative jobs.
How long I've been using a screen since my eye issues happened:
Over 1 year.
Other comments:
I take a lot of hope in that I've been able to continue my day job for over 1 year since getting MGD. I think that I can continue into the future. However, some days I have the opposite thought and then I get quite anxious.
I'd love to hear your replies!
Kevin
