Having just read and replied on Kevins topic about how he now finds himself in possibly the worst job he could be in?.
Could any members add there successful story of either a career change ot adapting there longtime occupation.

My boss let me change my hours so i now work 6 days instead of 5 days, i now do 6.5hrs a day instead of 8hrs. Infact, dont tell anyone, but i'm now 'job and knock' so go home as soon as i've done and take my 40min break at the end of duty(at home). The 1.5hrs i do less per day was indoor work, i now only work outdoors now. Oh, and i was a driver before, having my windscreen act as a U.V rays magnifying glass. That had to change no if's or butt's..
I count myself very lucky to have an employer who could offer an alternative position.
