I take 10000 mg/day of Vitamin D. I find it helps manage various burning and other discomfort sensations in the eye. It may be a coincidence, but I'm sticking with it

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, did they state what the recommended amount of vitamin D is to improve dry eye? I only take 25ug and only then as its already included in the fish oil capsule I take.
People have recovered, so can we.

I believe the official upper limit is around 5000 UI but vitamin d is safe even in higher doses when supplemented with vitamin K2. There is an interesting book called "The Miraculous Results Of Extremely High Doses Of The Sunshine Hormone Vitamin D3" maybe you should check it out. I am currently taking 10000 IU but will up to around 30000 IU once I get the proper vitamin K2.
I am also taking 400mg of Magnesium Citrate which I think really improved my dry eye.

What you get through your diet is not nearly enough.
Thanks for this, I actually ended up googling the book and its author which led me to order some vitamin d3 and some magnesium citrate which I started yesterday, funny thing was when I ordered the magnesium the first review under it spoke of it being a dry eye cure (the only review out of about 50 that discovered this quite by accident) so it's got to be a sign it can improve things for some,me to I hope!) I was just watched a lecture on YouTube about vitamin k2 by the same author, what dose do you take?
All this stuff really does get me interested in functional medicine!
