Can anesthetics in dental work exacerbate dry eye issues?

Hi,

I'm due to go for dental work and wanted to make sure the anesthetics used are not likely to make my eyes worse.

I will probably be given topical benzocaine, and also carbocaine with no epinephrine.

Does anyone know if these are safe to use if you have blepharitis and dry eye issues?
