Hi. Just been to a Dry Eye Centre in London and had Lipview where I was told my lip layer thickness was 70 but not too worry as it wasn’t far off 100 which is normal. . I have since checked and have found out that normal is 70 and not 100!! Can someone confirm I have researched this correctly.

Just checked again and it would appear that 100nm LLT is a normal measurement. Just need confirmation that this right. Also would be very interested in knowing what other dry eye sufferer LLT results are. -
Mine were 41nm and 47nm. The doctor said no dry eyes. I am still baffled by his statement. I showed reports to 2 more doctors. They said looks normal. And one of them even mentioned its a variable metric. WTH!Comment

Hi. Not sure I know what NIBUT. stands for. Do you mean tear break up time? Unfortunately they did not tell me but I suspect it is around 1 sec.Comment

I do wonder if the results are dependent on the operator and therefore subject to variation!Comment
