Eye drops for dry eye from japan

Has anyone tried the japanese eye drops called diquafosol tetrasodium?
actually used the drops? Do they work? Do they make your eyes make tears?
is it effective? Can you see clearer? Is it easier to read?

had extremely dry eyes for years, dont make tears. Vision is variably blurry.
none of the commercial drops seem to fix the problem, nor can the doctors
