MGD from accutane. Any success stories?

I took accutane almost a year ago and I’m still suffering a lot. I have searched this site a lot but I haven’t really seen anyone with accutane induced MGD have any success. And most the people who made those post aren’t active anymore. Is this something that gets better with time? Or will it just continue to ruin my life?

Here is what I tried
Lipiflow 1x
IPL with expression 4x
Xiidra
Cequa
Novatears
Lacrisert
Punctal plugs

The last three have been the most effective. But I’m still nowhere where I need to be. Is it worth trying more IPL treatments? I am still producing thick oil.

Which country are you located in?

Without more informatlon, i would recommend:
1) continue the IPL, are you doing the upper lids as well? are you using high enough energy stting?
2) continue Xiidra
3) continue cequa/restasis (cyclosporine) -- if you have insurance, consider switching to restasis, i heard the delivery vehicle might be better, but unconfirmed.

How long are you on [2, 3]?

I tried IPL a long time ago and found it helped a little, also tried probing etc. I think the best option is diet, most of the success stories i've heard of relate to diet/ gut bacteria etc.

Don't mean to scare you but I have Accutane induced dry eyes for 35 years.I take Omega 3 6 9 supplements which made my eyes feel better and use lubricating drops.
