  • Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) side effects - report patient experience to UK MHRA

    https://www.gov.uk/government/consul...-expert-review

Isotretinoin (Roaccutane, Reticutan, and Rizuderm) is used as a treatment for severe acne. UK MHRA are reviewing it for side effects.

UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is calling for 'interested individuals including patients, patient representatives, healthcare professionals, researchers, and organisations to provide their views and any other information they consider relevant to support the review'.

Online form closed Feb 2021, but UK MHRA YELLOW CARD reports will be included in this Medication Safety Review. And always reviewed ongoing and in future.

Make a Yellow Card report through above link or https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/ - 'The Yellow Card scheme run by the MHRA and is the UK system for collecting and monitoring information on safety concerns such as suspected side effects or adverse incidents involving medicines and medical devices. The scheme relies on voluntary reporting of suspected side effects or medical device incidents to be reported by health professionals and the public, including patients, carers and parents. Reporting helps others.'
