Hello,
Here is my story. I’ve suffered for years from crusty eyelashes, dry eyes and redness all worse in the mornings. A few weeks ago I thought I had an eye infection so visited a walk in clinic. Main symptoms were bone dry eyes and complete redness in the whites of my eyes. I’ve tried ocusoft scrub with no relief. He said he thought it was pink eye and gave me a drop for it. A week later it was no better so I went to my normal eye doctor who gave me a steroid drop. Again, no relief. Solid bright red in the whites of my eyes and bone dry eyes.
I started researching my symptoms and suspected it is Demodex. Today I bought a bottle of tea tree oil. I mixed a few drops with grape seed oil and put it on my lids and lashes. It’s like the floodgates have opened! Visibly my eyes have not improved yet but I have tears again!
