What kind of eyedrops are you putting in? There is not much point using something that makes it worse. Are you using a drop that is for redness?

I'm afraid that's a bit like asking who the best pop musician is: everyone will have a different opinion.

Dr. Latkany (whose site you referenced) is excellent and many people on this site have been to him. However, if you will be in Boston why not start with someone local. I would highly recommend Dr. Debbie Jacobs who is a corneal specialist from Harvard and is also medical director of the Boston Foundation for Sight. That's who I would go to if I were in Boston. And there are other excellent doctors locally.

Thanks very much Rebecca....and sorry for my english...yes it's strange that my eye gets more red with eye drops...but i use drops without preservatives (i tried a couple of drops but with the same results!)..the are called Hyabak (i don't if they exist in the U.S.)...my doctor here in Milan also told me it's strange but my eyes get a lot more sensible and as soon as i stress them i a bit (driving or using pc) they get redder (looks like i have a spider web in it!!) . i asked about Dr. Latkany because this summer i will be in Boston, New York and Atlanta (where my father lives)...i surely will go to him and hope that he will help me.......

        Francesco,
I would also highly reccomend Dr. Latkany. I have seen him 3 or 4 times and he has always been very kind and patient. There are some good doctors in Boston too, but Dr. Latkany seems to be one of the best I have met so far. I am sure that you will like him.
