Eye drops with Rosacea

I'm really starting to think that i have Rosacea....i already have MGD....i'm using 5-6 eye drops every day (free pres.) and it looks like they are even worse ..(redder).....is this common?? i'm not 100% shure about Rosacea (i will visit Latkany next month) so maybe i will start restasis

I have seen Dr. Latkany. Most likely he will suggest that you try Restasis. People with Rosacea can have facial skin that is very sensitive to certain chemicals: perfume, certain soaps, sunblock. From what Dr. Latkany tells me, your eyes can be very sensitive too. If you have bad MGD, most likely you will find it neccesary to use eyedrops during the day. If you think a certain kind of drop is making your eyes redder, maybe try a few different kinds. My personal favorite right now is Systane. It's not perfect, but it definately helps.
