Update on my battle with Lasik/Informed Consent

My state Board of Licensure refused to get involved when I initially complained about my Lasik surgeon's informed consent practices. I complained to the Governor and asked that at the very least, any complaints regarding RS be reviewed by an Ophthalmologist.

This morning, I saw that an Ophthalmologist was just appointed to the board!

I have to admit that I am a little surprised that my request was taken seriously but I am just thrilled. And this woman is NOT a Lasik surgeon.
