I have recently acquired a copy of Dr. Latkanys book which is excellent, especially for those who are new to the dry eye scene.
One tip stood out for me and seems to have helped my situation greatly.
I always noticed that I could have a good day at work but as soon as I got home the dry eye symptoms would commence.
I read the book and one piece of advice it gives is not to sit in direct air flow in a room. Now, in common with millions of fathers across the globe, I have my chair, next to the window, which no one else is allowed to sit in. This chair is directly facing the door into the room through which all draughts flow.
I have now started to sit in another part of the room and my eyes feel a lot better with reduced occurrences of "blowy eye" (see my other postings!).
I miss my chair and I guess its another example of your life being dictated to by Dry eye, but these small adjustments all go together to help manage the problem,
Keep smiling
