    How to fill the tube?

    Hi,
Thank you for your information. Its very interesting and I really hope it will be helpful. It says its suitable for extremly dry eyes but I guess it might help normal dry eyes too.
But I dont know how to fill the tube. And what's the liquid inside ?

      Haha I have no idea!!

I just found it amazing that a person could go from a schrimer of 0 to over 10!!!!!

God if I woke up with "wetting" on my pillow....it would be a miracle!!!!

        Wow

Very interested in this, but my question too, ....where does the fluid come from to fill the tube?

It comes from the aqueous humor. The aqueous is the thin, watery fluid that fills the space between the cornea and the iris.

That looks like a good idea for people with severe aqueous defficency.
It says it provides a constant flow of aqueous.

For people who missed it this saliva transplant also looks interesting

              Aqeuous Shunt Procedure

              Hi All:

I actually enquired about the procedure from the author. Didn't think I would get a reply but figured what did I have to lose. He would probably just delete the email.

Good news is that he emailed me back-still shocked about that one
Bad News is that the shunt is not reliable-alot to work out-told me to inquire in 2 yrs!!!!

Ah well at least there is hope for the future I guess. Hope I didn't dash anyone's spirits but is good to know they are working on it and perhaps in a few yrs we will have more progress.
If life is a bowl of cherries, then why I am I stuck in the pits!
