I get this too, really really bad in the morning, and it's getting worse over time. I've just recieved in the post an appointment (finally) to see an eye specialist (yay), but thats not until the end of January next year...... I guess I should be happy, but thats another 2 1/2 months more I've got to wait with this constantly depressing me. Oh and my eyes have flared up the last few days so I shouldn't even be writing this at the moment as it's making them worse.
Instead of thinking about what you're missing, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is missing.

I don't know what causes redness but...

Vitamin C and anti-oxidants in general, are important for healthy blood vessels. It can't hurt to eat an orange or squeeze a bit of lemon into your tea or water . Just a thought.

Hey Cindy--Do you think she drinks tea because her name is Tetley? I had to ask. I'm glad you posted so I had a reason to bring it up.

I ate 2 tangelos today FYI.
