Corneal haze ... may need another procedure?

I tried to do a search on this but didn't come up with anything.... Here is the story ... my SIL's sister had touch-up after 3 months to help with an astigmatism. After the second procedure she had corneal haze and they gave her some drops to help the situtation. After 2 weeks on the drops she went back today and and they told her to keep with the drops for another two weeks but wouldn't say what would happen if it didn't clear up by then. A Google search said that such haze may need another procedure .... what would that procedure be?
