When you have a cold

Since my eyes and nose and mouth got dry, I can hardly tell when I get a cold. I sneeze, and my nose sometimes feels congested; my face hurts more and my eyes ache more, but I never have a runny nose. I'm never quite sure if I"m sick or stressed out (well, stress is a given, after all my eyes are killing me
Does anyone else have this type of cold when they're sick these days??
