Autologous Serum

I am currently on my second three month round of autologous serum. I have read very few posts on this treatment and wonder who, and under what conditions, this treatment is prescribed. Has anyone found using the serum helpful? I think it's too soon for me to tell, but I'm concerned that it's not been mentioned with any frequencey as part of the routine. I should say that my diagnosis is DES/MGD and possibly primary Sjogren's.
