A lot of tear when crying-nerve problem caused DES or Sjorgen?

I thought I must have Sjorgen since I have very serious dry eyes and dry mouth. I have hypothyroidism too.
But I once read if one gets sjorgen, he or she wont get tears even when they want to cry. But I have a lot of tears when I cry, and I get to cry when I'm a little bit emotional. All my family and my friends think I cry too easily. Is that a sign that my DES is related to nerve?
Is anyone in the same situation?

Not sure what you mean

I do have Sjogren's and I still cry real tears. Some people with Sjogren's can't. But I'm not sure what you mean by nerve caused dry eye. I don't think nerves can cause dry eye unless you have an autonomic nervous system problem that causes those nerves to stop working.

You can be tested for Sjogren's. Have you done this?

Not yet. I'm in Germany and I need to wait till June to take Sjorgen test. Too many patients and too little doctors.

What I meant was the autonomic nerves system problem. Its like the tears wont come out when I'm not emotional, but they come all out when I'm emotional.

I'm in the same situation as you. I've got very dry eyes and sometimes dry mouth (comes and goes a bit). I cry quite a lot of tears when I am upset, emontional, etc.

I've got rheumatoid arthrisis, thyroid-related problems (used to have hyperthyroidism, but after "killing" the glands with radioactive iodine I now have hypothyroidism and get all my thyroxin through tablets), and maybe Sjogrens disease (but I've got negative blood tests and negative lip biopsy, so I don't totally fit into the Sjogren diagnose).

I got tested on Sjögren several times but all results were negative. But still, I have severe dry eye but I can cry easily (too fast if you ask me).
@ atta: Look for another doctor, you just need a full blood test, this is done easily, there are enough doctors in Germany, I know that for sure! :-) I waited for my appointments just a week or so.
