I saw my regular optician today and she said that my lower meibomiam glands are working relatively well...only a few are blocked.
However she said that ALL my upper glands are blocked!!! no oil coming out at all. Seeing as we have more glands on the upper lids... this clearly explains alot of my symptoms.
However can I ask, what do blocked glands "feel" like? Currently when i feel my upper lid margins...they are pretty lumpy and hard, near the eyelashes. Is this normal or is this the blockages? I notice that the lower lids margins dont feel so hard or lumpy.
Any advice?
