Reason for eye problem-color part of eyes are too big?

I once read that too much sensibility could lead to dry eye symptom.I wonder if the eye structure could be the cause of eye problem. The color part of my eyes are larger than normal. I mean relative to white part of eyes. I've always had dry eyes, maybe since I was a child.
I wonder if scleral lenses could help in my case. Does anyone have experience?

Heya,
I have had dry eye since I was a kid, too. I have very large eyes - but the iris (the colored part) isn't out of proportion with the white part. I am not a candidate for LASIK (not that after reading this site I would consider it anyway) because of dry eye AND my pupils dilate too large.
I used to think my dry eye was because so much of my eye is exposed to the air. I have no real evidence to confirm, though.
Not much help, eh?
