I would be very skeptical about any homepathic "medicine". In truth, the only ingredients are the inactive ones. Check this out:

I am very much in favor of natural treatments in general but I have to say I've rarely heard, or seen, any positive reviews of any homeopathic dry eye drops in our community here, and I don't think I've ever seen any comments about this particular one.

        Richard.
Sometimes folks confuse "homeopathic" with "natural". Whether man-made or natural is of no concern to me, its efficacy is what I care about.

What I am VERY SKEPTICAL of is the homeopathic concept of "dilution and succession". Essentially what this means is that the more dilute an ingredient is, the HIGHER the potency.

If we look at this particular "medicine", we find this on the label:

        Sulphur HPUS 6x
        Nux Vomica HPUS 12x
        Euphrasia HPUS 5x
        Alumina HPUS 10x
        Arsenicum album HPUS 12x
        Nux moschata HPUS 6x
        Zincum metalicum HPUS 10x

I have no idea what these so called active ingredient are, but it doesn't really matter because they are of such ridiculously low dilutions that they might as well not even be listed on the label. See the 6x, 12x, 5x etc.? Those are the measures of "potency". In the world of homeopathy, the more dilute, the more potent!

Let's take an example from above.

For the Nux Vomica HPUS 12x.......this means that for every molecule of Nux Vomica HPUS, there are 1,000,000,000,000 molecules of water. Folks, this is some serious dilution.

So those were the "active ingredients". What else is in there? Well here you go:

Sterile water, Sodium Chloride (salt for isotonicity to tears), Citrates (pH balancer), Polysorbate-80 (0.4% as a very light lubricant with preservative qualities).

Basically salt water. Must be some real good salt water for $62,000.00 per gallon!

I'm not suggesting that people listen to me about whether homeopathy will cure their problem or not, that's all up to you. All I am asking you to do is learn the facts and then use your good judgment. For me, it's very clear this is all nonsense and a scam to take your money.

        Richard.

          Hi,
Before you try this stuff you may want to try:
          http://www.similasanusa.com/products-dry-eye-relief.cfm
But again I can't vouch for it's effectiveness.
