  • Spring into Panoptx

This is about Spring and Panoptx. Winter was long and cold in the midwest. We have had several days of temps in the 60's and sunny. And WINDY. Being full of "cabin fever," it seems nice to be able to go out on a trail for a hike.

I forget how handy my Panoptx (with RX) are sometimes. I would not have been able to go out and enjoy the latest weather and get in some much needed exercise without my Sirocco's. True, a bit of fogging, but I'm afraid I'll lose them and never be able to replace them. My left eye is still killing me and I would really like to have the eye sewn shut, but being able to get away for a bit and enjoy the sights of new life in Spring helps me out a lot. Happy Spring to everyone. Lucy

    Re: Fogging

I have tried a few anti-fog, including Cat Crap that someone recommended and they all worked like crap.

But.....I have now been using Fogtech, and it does work. I had to experiment with different application methods but I found one that works. They give you a cloth and you are supposed to apply a few drops to that and wipe it quickly on. I have best results by dropping 2 drops right onto the inside of the lens and quickly flexing my hand back and forth to make the drops coat the whole (most ) lens. It is pricey, but for me, it works. I have been using it for 6 months, and so far, no ill effects to the lens.
